Razorligh - Self Titled Album

Sometimes I think that what the music world really needs is some smashing lyrics and a great rock sound to rejuventate the music listeners of today and take them back to the basic 4/4 music pattern. It seems alot of today's music listeners are into R+B and Hip Hop. Which is not a bad thing but then again there are other art forms that are getting lost in the mix.

Razorlight have a very fresh sound to them and the music is something that you can pick off the shelf and just start listening to. There is no complexity and guess what, it sounds fucking good. I was turned onto this band while i was plugged into Radio 1 one Sunday and since then I am a fan of the sound of the vocalist and the ever inspiring guitar work in the background. I tell people all the time that the beauty of the rock guitar is no longer with the English speaking portion of the Western world.

Take some time out and give this band a chance, chances are you may start putting rock back on the plate.
